Summary:


This position is responsible for leading the external financial reporting, for technical accounting research and analysis, and for providing accounting/reporting guidance and advice to segment and corporate management. This executive will ensure financial statements comply and meet the highest standards of relevance, transparency, clarity and understandability. In addition, this executive will be a key leader and driver of process improvements as they relate to external reporting processes.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Oversee all SEC filings
Monitor accounting standards setting process. Research, evaluate and assess the impact of pending accounting pronouncements and oversee implementation across the company.
Provide technical accounting leadership to Corporate and Segment operations to guide accounting, reporting and disclosure, and to proactively identify and resolve related issues.
Support quarterly press release process with financial information and analyses, and through close coordination Relations and Financial Planning and Analysis.
Provide accounting and financial reporting supportor Tax, Treasury, Human Resources, Legal and Environmental.
Lead initiatives to achieve leading and/or world-class levels for external reporting processes.
Actively participate in the development of accounting and financial reporting policies.
Support reporting of financial results and updates to the Audit Committee and to the Board of Directors.
Support external audits and reviews by rating agencies and others
Participate in the disclosure review process and support the Disclosure Review Committee.

Experience
Bachelor's degree, CPA designation and ideally 12+ years experience in accounting with significant experience consisting of a combination of public accounting and/or medium to large multi-national public company. The candidate should possess strong experience with SEC filings, strong process improvement experience, communication (oral and written) and relationship building skills as well as strong technical accounting experience.

Seeking a dynamic Senior Tax Manager for a F200 concern who will play a key role in the company's global tax provision process as well as participate in providing tax rate guidance and other modeling support to the company's finance team.

The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of FAS 109, provision experience (either corproate or Big Four experience is preferred) and strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
